My Darwin Tribute Song
Comment by Taylor L. Smith | Wednesday 12 Feb 2003, 10:22 pm
Please note:
That song is in no way to be taken seriously. It is a joke. Joan Osborne say a song very similar and it hit no.1 on Billboards charts. This song by no way represents my feelings or opinions, rather it was created strictly as an artistic outlet and I was freakin’ board and I wanted to have some fun.
My Tribute to Charles Darwin. A good man.
Enjoy!…I guess.

I think that that song, better than anything else, sums up the commitment to scientific principles and unimpeded intellectual inquiry for which we should honor and be inspired by the life and work of Charles Darwin.

WOW! Thanks dude! I apreciate it!
William Howard and I recorded it last night in less than 20 minutes on an 8-track.
I felt inspired by Darwin’s birthday and saw it fit to record the song on the eve of his day.
True, I will be ‘weeded-out’ of society by his own philosophy but hey, I had fun while I was here.
He was a good man.
