Biweekly

The word “biweekly” can mean either

  • occurring twice a week or
  • occurring once every two weeks.

Did everyone know this but me?

No wonder I’ve been so confused all my life.

I’m curious about what other “bi-” words this new learning can be applied to.

  • I never know this! Maybe this is one of those things that just got left our of our education. Congratulations on the return of wordparts. I’ve been reading it every few days, just hadn’t remember to tell you. Thanks for bringing her back! (why do we dub inanimate objects “her”?)

  • It’s times like this when it’d be great if I had read it more carefully before hitting “post”. Sorry Bob, it’s late.

  • Bifurcated trial means a trial that is split into two parts (usually a guilt phase and a sanity phase).

I didn’t know that about “biweekly”, and the ambiguity of it is vaguely annoying, no?
