Chimping

chimping
  n :

…then a white van drives by…

A joke. Funny only to audio geeks. And even then, only maybe.

Paul Klipsch is walking down the street and sees Amar Bose. Mr. Klipsch puts his hands to his mouth in a horn shape and yells to him, “Hello, Amar!”.

Amar turns away, cups his hands together a few inches and slightly angled away from his mouth, and yells back, “Hello, Paul!”.

Thank you for your time.

Orders of magnitude

One thousand American soldiers dead in Iraq.

How many Iraqi civilians dead?

Even the most conservative estimates claim that number to be greater than the number of civilians killed in the United States on September 11, 2001; most estimates are around three or four times that number.
