Wikipedia Lists

One of the best things about using Wikipedia is stumbling upon pages of lists.

Sometimes they’re of things you’d have never thought to list. Such as “List of films by gory death scene”.

Ever needed a list of movies containing scenes of “Death from slicing by such a sharp object, that it takes some moments for victim to fall apart”?

  • wow, that list (and w-pedia) are amazing. I can’t wait for the day when I can log onto Netflix, search for “death by *” and get a list of films (not to mention at what time in the film a certain scene occurs) in return.

Bring on the death of the mass market!

ps: wonder if that death will become a new category…death by the long tail :)

  • It’s funny… I just looked up “Rupert Jee” at Wikipedia. I saw him on Letterman and thought I’d just look him up. I love Wikipedia!
